Ingredients

1 kg boneless chicken breast

½ kg onions, sliced

5 shrak bread loaves

1 cup sumac

1½ cups olive oil

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1 tsp black pepper

1 tsp salt
Instructions

Place the chicken breast in a pot, cover it with water, and cook until fully done. Remove from heat, let it cool, then shred it into small pieces.

In a pan, sauté the onions in ½ cup of olive oil until soft.

Add sumac to the onions, then mix in the shredded chicken and stir-fry well. Season with cinnamon, black pepper, and salt.

Continue stirring for 5 minutes, then remove from heat.

Cut each shrack bread into 4 equal pieces (triangles or squares).

Spread olive oil on each piece, add 2 tablespoons of the filling, then roll into a cone or a tight roll, sealing the bottom to prevent filling from spilling.

Place the Musakhan rolls on a greased baking tray, brush them with olive oil, and bake until golden and crispy.
