Ingredients:
For brushing the dough:
¼ cup milk
3 teaspoons sesame seeds
For the dough:
3 cups flour
1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon powdered milk
1¼ cups water
½ teaspoon instant yeast
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons salt
40 grams butter (at room temperature)
Instructions:
In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine the flour, powdered milk, water, yeast, sugar, salt, and butter. Knead the ingredients until you get a smooth and cohesive dough.
Place the dough in a bowl, cover it with a clean cloth, and let it rest until it doubles in size. After that, place the dough in the refrigerator for a full night before using it.
Divide the dough into equal-sized balls, and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Brush the tops of the dough balls with milk and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Bake the buns in the oven for about 15-20 minutes until they turn golden brown.
Remove the burger buns from the oven and let them cool slightly before using.
