🧾 Ingredients for Traditional Arabic Coffee

  • Water: 4 cups

  • Arabic coffee (medium ground): 4 tablespoons

  • Cardamom: 1 teaspoon (ground)

  • Cloves: 3 pieces (optional)

  • Mastic: 3 grains

  • Ginger: a pinch (ground, optional)

👩‍🍳 Preparation Method

  1. Bring the water to a boil in a traditional coffee pot (dallah) or saucepan over medium heat.

  2. Add the ground Arabic coffee and let it simmer gently for about 5 minutes, stirring lightly.

  3. Add cardamom, saffron, cloves, ginger, and mastic according to preference, and allow it to simmer for another minute so the flavors blend well.

  4. Strain the coffee using a fine sieve into a traditional dallah.
