Oxford Study: Eating Breakfast Between 6 and 9 AM Boosts Metabolism and Energy

A recent study conducted by researchers at Oxford University revealed that eating breakfast between 6:00 and 9:00 AM is the ideal time to enhance metabolism and improve energy levels throughout the day.

The study found that individuals who consistently eat breakfast during this window tend to maintain more stable blood sugar levels and feel full for longer periods, which reduces the likelihood of overeating later in the day.

Researchers also noted that delaying breakfast past 9:30 AM can disrupt the body's circadian rhythm, negatively affecting sleep quality, mood, and increasing the risk of weight gain.

Doctors emphasize the importance of including balanced nutrients in breakfast — such as protein, fiber, and healthy carbohydrates — to provide the body with sufficient morning energy.

The study also advises avoiding foods high in added sugars or saturated fats at breakfast and recommends focusing on natural foods like oats, eggs, and fresh fruits.
