Milk Bread in 15 Minutes

Bread is a staple in many kitchens, used for sandwiches, dips, and alongside almost any meal. This recipe uses milk to make the bread more nutritious and delicious, even if eaten plain.

Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Serves: 4 people

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup warm milk

  • 1 tablespoon yogurt

  • 2½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tablespoon instant yeast

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Instructions:

  1. In a deep bowl, mix sugar, salt, vegetable oil, warm milk, and yogurt together.

  2. Add the yeast and stir well until it dissolves.

  3. Gradually add the flour, then knead with your hands until you get a soft, non-sticky dough.

  4. Cover the dough and let it rest and rise until it doubles in size.

  5. Divide the dough into 12 equal balls.

  6. Roll out each ball into a circle on a floured surface.

  7. Place the circles on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Cover the tray to prevent drying while you finish rolling all pieces.

  8. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

  9. Bake the tray in the oven for about 6 minutes, until the bread puffs up and is cooked through.

  10. Serve warm.
