Healthy Khashkhash Dessert for Dieting

Khashkhash dessert, or the noodle-based sweet, is a popular dish in many Arab kitchens. It is commonly used in savory dishes such as soups or with rice, but it’s also famous as a winter dessert. Here’s a healthy version of this dessert, perfect for your diet, made with lighter ingredients for a satisfying and guilt-free treat.
Cooking Time: 60 minutes
Serves: 5 people
Ingredients:

400 grams of Pakistani noodles
2 cups of fresh cream
½ cup sweetened condensed milk
1 packet of whipping cream powder
20 pieces of savory biscuits
1 tablespoon custard powder
1 packet of caramel pudding powder
1 cup of milk
2 tablespoons light butter
1 cup cream cheese
Instructions:
Toast the noodles: Break the noodles into smaller pieces and toast them in 2 tablespoons of butter until they turn golden brown.
Prepare the creamy mixture: In a blender, combine the fresh cream, cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, whipping cream powder, caramel pudding powder, and custard powder. Blend until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.
Layer the dessert: In a dish, spread a small amount of the creamy mixture as the base. Dip the biscuits in milk and arrange them over the creamy layer. Add another layer of the creamy mixture over the biscuits.
Add the noodles: Add half of the toasted noodles over the creamy layer, followed by another layer of the creamy mixture, then more biscuits, and another layer of the creamy mixture. Top it with the remaining noodles, saving a small amount for garnishing.
Chill the dessert: Cover the dessert with plastic wrap and refrigerate it overnight.
Serve: The next day, take the dessert out of the fridge and sprinkle the reserved toasted noodles on top for garnish. Serve cold and enjoy!
This healthier version of the traditional khashkhash dessert is a light yet indulgent treat, perfect for those watching their diet but still craving something delicious!
