Easy Pasta with Tomato Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • 250 g pasta

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 medium tomato, diced

  • ½ cup cooking cream

  • Salt, to taste

  • Black pepper, to taste

  • A pinch of oregano

  • Parmesan or mozzarella cheese, for topping

Instructions

  1. Boil the pasta in salted water until cooked, then drain, reserving a little pasta water.

  2. In a pan over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the garlic until fragrant.

  3. Add the diced tomato and cook for a few minutes until slightly thickened. Season with salt, black pepper, and oregano.

  4. Stir in the cooking cream gently.

  5. Add the drained pasta to the sauce, tossing until fully coated.

  6. Add a little reserved pasta water if the sauce is too thick.

  7. Serve hot, topped with your choice of Parmesan or mozzarella cheese.
