Police in Al Aaroui have arrested a well-known local liquor dealer, commonly referred to as a "Karrab," in a targeted operation carried out late last night. This arrest is part of the ongoing security campaign to combat the illegal sale of alcohol in the region.

According to reliable sources, the first operation began with the arrest of the suspect at his home in the Wadi Wazaj neighborhood, which falls under the police's jurisdiction. The residence was being operated illegally as a site for selling prohibited alcohol.

The second operation took place in the Al-Huwaysiyya area, within the jurisdiction of the Royal Gendarmerie, where another suspect involved in the same illegal activity was apprehended.

These operations resulted in the seizure of more than 500 bottles of packaged alcohol, which were intended for illegal sale across various neighborhoods.

Additionally, five suspicious motorcycles were found, and investigations are underway to determine their legal status and any possible connection to the criminal activities of the arrested individuals.

Security sources confirmed that the suspects have been placed under provisional detention, based on instructions from the public prosecutor's office, and further investigations will continue to complete the case.
